What does “Professional Workshop” mean?
Professional Workshops are skills-based programs focused on practical learning and industry application. They do not hold formal academic accreditation but provide valuable hands-on experience.
What does CPD mean?
CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. It refers to structured learning that helps individuals develop practical skills, knowledge, and professional competence.
Are DIPS programmes CPD accredited?
Selected DIPS programmes are CPD accredited and meet internationally recognised CPD standards for structured learning and professional development.
Who can enrol in CPD programmes at DIPS?
CPD programmes at DIPS are open to students, beginners, career changers, and working professionals. No prior work experience is required unless stated.
Is CPD the same as a university degree?
No. CPD programmes are short, skills-focused training courses and are not equivalent to university degrees.
What is MOS, and who provides the certification?
MOS stands for Microsoft Office Specialist. It is an internationally recognised certification that validates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. DIPS provides MOS training and exam preparation. The official MOS certification is issued by Microsoft’s authorised external testing body upon successful completion of the exam.
If I enroll alongside a friend or co-worker, will I get a discount?
Yes! When you enroll as a group of two or more, each participant receives a 20% discount on course fees. Simply contact the DIPS Support Team, and we’ll be happy to assist you with your group registration.
Will I be given a certificate once the course is over?
Yes. Once you successfully complete your course with a grade of C or higher and have settled all outstanding tuition fees, you will be awarded your Certificate of Completion from Darcol Institute of Professional Studies (DIPS). For CPD-accredited programmes, the certificate reflects CPD accreditation.
